Dr. Christopher K. Rhea is the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation in the College of Health Sciences at Old Dominion University. Dr. Rhea’s research focuses on the development and application of smartphone apps and virtual reality technology to enhance human health. His work ranges from neuromotor dysfunction detection in military populations to reducing fall risk in older adults to STEM/nutrition education with children. His research has been funded by the Department of Defense, US Navy, National Institutes of Health, Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Women’s Football Foundation.
